Basic Problems: Value, Authenticity, and Meaning in Life

Emory University, spring 2015

Emory’s Phil 100 courses introduce students to the study of philosophy through selected “basic problems” chosen by the instructor. For my spring 2015 section, informed by student interest and my own research program, I chose to focus on the relationship between personal and social values, authenticity, and the question of how to live a meaningful life.
