KHC Studio: Modernity and Its Discontents II

Kilachand Honors College, Boston University, spring 2016, spring 2017

This is the second in a two-course sequence required for all first-year students in the Honors College at Boston University. The Studio is a combination seminar and writing course that introduces students to college-level writing and research through an examination of ethical, aesthetic, and social themes in modernist texts. Both semesters include regular, mandatory one-on-one tutorials with each student, and the second semester culminates in an independent research project and paper. The syllabus and major assignments are the same for all Studio sections and were designed collaboratively by all Studio instructors.
