This is the standard logic course for students at Emory, and consists of an introduction to formal and informal logic. Topics covered include fallacies, argument analysis, syllogistic logic, propositional logic, and basic proofs. I have made slight variations in content and experimented with different texts each time I taught this course. The syllabus below is from the most recent iteration (2014), in which most day-to-day assignments were completed using Logicola computer software.
